We understand the benefits of Omega-3 fatty acids, especially ALA, for both humans and animals alike. That is why, with a revised Omega-3 livestock feeding program, we are bringing an all-natural, sustainable opportunity that offers significant benefits to the livestock and to the consumers looking to enrich their healthy lifestyle.
The linPRO product line offers unique opportunity to optimize the health of the animal through natural, land-based Omega-3 fatty acids while simultaneously enriching the eggs, milk and meat produced by these animals. By improving the balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in the food produced by our livestock, consumers don’t have to make drastic and difficult changes to their diet; instead, they simply need to choose the option with the “Raised Omega Right” label
Animal foods that are high in Omega-3s are among the best sources ALA fatty acids but due to the diet of grain-based feeds containing soy and corn the animals bi-products are in turn high in Omega-6. Raised Omega3 Right provides an alternative to introduce feed that includes a specialty feed called linPRO made from extruded flaxseed.
Currently there is a large volume of animal bi-products such as Omega-3 eggs seen commonly in grocery stores. Research is now showing this same introduction of this specialty feed is offering similar Omega-3 results within the tissues creating meats, milks, etc that are higher in Omega-3 fatty acids.
Changing the idea of adding Omega-3 to our diet as a supplement but rather incorporating it into the food itself at the beginning of the production process benefits all around. Animals are healthier and have high reproduction rates and less health issues, and because of the reduction in inflammation, production is often increased creating a healthier, happier animal and profitable grower. Conversely human then have more options for incorporating Omega-3s to their daily diet with eggs, milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, and meats to just name a few.

The Facts about Flax
Flaxseed is one of the world’s oldest crops. It is an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of omega-3 fatty acid that’s important for heart health and found primarily in plant foods. Just one serving provides a good amount of protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids, along with several important vitamins and minerals. It is rich in lignans, which are plant compounds that have been studied for their potent cancer-fighting properties. Interestingly, this seed boasts 75–800 times more lignans than other plant foods.
Just 1 tablespoon (7 grams) of ground flaxseed packs 2 grams of fiber, which is around 5% and 8% of the daily recommended intake for men and women, respectively. This tiny seed may improve digestive health, protect against certain types of cancer, stabilize blood sugar levels, and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. It’s also versatile, delicious, and easy to include in your diet.
